Features: Track and field is a sport with a long history and is also the most widely practiced sport in the world. It is the cornerstone of the Olympics, embodying the Olympic motto of "Faster, Higher, Stronger," and is the event with the most gold medals awarded, making it a major competition in the Olympic Games. To better promote and develop track and field among young people in China, the People's Sports Publishing House has introduced the "Youth Track and Field Technical Training Series" published by the Japanese Baseball Magazine, comprising 11 volumes. The entire series covers over 10 track and field events, is richly illustrated, easy to understand, and convenient for learning and practice. This book is one of them, serving as a popular reading material on the javelin throw event. Its purpose is to guide novice javelin throwers and coaches, aiming to achieve the task of guiding javelin throwing to reach world-class levels. This book is intended to help beginners understand correct hurdle techniques and training methods, and to establish a strong motivation for participating in hurdle sports. Based on my experience, it takes approximately 10 years to fully master hurdle running techniques, allowing athletes to reach a high level in terms of technique and experience, thereby entering a phase where they can fully demonstrate their capabilities. Athletes and coaches must be fully prepared for this.
