Features: This book is divided into two volumes. The first volume is the Principles of Structural-Directional Teaching Psychology, which includes three parts: the theoretical foundation of structural-directional teaching, learning patterns and teaching design, as well as performance assessment. It primarily elaborates on the two fundamental viewpoints of the structural-directional teaching concept proposed by the author (the viewpoint of structured teaching and the viewpoint of directional teaching), three theoretical foundations (the systematic view of education and the theory of experience transmission, the reception-construction theory of student learning, and the theory of generalized experience in ability and morality), five aspects of learning patterns (the motivation and initiative law of learning, the transfer law of learning, the law of knowledge and its mastery, the law of skills and their formation, and the law of behavioral norms and their acceptance), as well as 17 principles of the structured and directional teaching system designed and constructed based on the structuralization and directionality teaching concepts (including the goal system, textbook system, teaching activity system, and performance assessment system of teaching effectiveness). The second volume is the experiments of Structural-Directional Teaching, divided into two parts, featuring 12 experimental reports on the theoretical and practical research conducted by the author and his graduate students over the past decade in reforming the teaching system. The first part consists of six experimental reports exploring learning patterns, while the second part includes six experimental reports on reforming the technical training, sports training, and primary school mathematics teaching systems. From these two batches of experimental reports, not only can one see the traces of our exploration, but also the effectiveness of this teaching system.
