Features: Due to historical conditions and reasons, countless national treasures such as bronze artifacts have scattered overseas. Cultural relics hold significant academic and artistic value and are a non-renewable wealth. Their dispersal is naturally deeply regretted. Collecting these artifact materials and conducting necessary analysis and research are among the methods to make up for the loss. The articles included in this book are a collection of the author's research on ancient Chinese artifacts from around the world, conducted using archaeological methods. China has a long history of civilization, with abundant cultural relics that hold important academic and artistic significance. However, in modern times, due to various social reasons, a large number of Chinese cultural relics have scattered overseas, making them difficult for domestic scholars to access. Since the 1970s, the author has visited many countries in Europe, America, Asia, and Oceania, as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan, to appraise, examine, and study Chinese artifacts in museums, galleries, and private collections. This book introduces these artifacts, with a particular focus on bronze artifacts, jade artifacts, oracle bones, and bamboo slips, selecting their finest examples for detailed discussion. In terms of research methodology, this book emphasizes comparative studies while also highlighting the integration of the latest achievements in archaeology and paleography. It proposes a series of innovative insights and provides an in-depth exploration of the historical, archaeological, and artistic significance of the artifacts discussed.
