Features: Since the establishment of China's market economy system has laid the foundation for the formulation of the Civil Code, China's judicial practice has accumulated rich experience in the formulation of the Civil Code, and a large number of civil law scholars have made extensive theoretical preparations. Therefore, it is entirely feasible to promulgate a comprehensive and substantive Civil Code that aligns with China's national conditions, which will provide strong support for China's economic takeoff, cultural prosperity, and long-term stability in the 21st century. We have every reason to believe that the publication of a Chinese-characteristic, advanced, and comprehensive Civil Code will become a reality in the near future. If the Civil Code of France in the early 19th century and the Civil Code of Germany in the early 20th century became important achievements in the history of global civil law development, then the promulgation of China's Civil Code in the early 21st century will undoubtedly leave a glorious chapter in the history of civil law development.
"Private Law" advocates the integration of private law as a whole for comprehensive research, placing particular emphasis on the basic theories of private law. It is an academic journal with high innovation and theoretical standards. In fact, the current draft of the Civil Code submitted to the National People's Congress for deliberation exhibits some legislative arbitrariness, which is a result of the lack of general theoretical research on private law, especially the lack of comprehensive research on private law as a whole. This book is the second volume of the third issue of "Private Law," adhering to the academic pursuit and manuscript selection criteria of "Private Law," and selects eleven high-quality academic papers. The content covers many aspects of the private law field, and the issues discussed are mostly cutting-edge and hot topics in both theoretical and practical circles. At the same time, this volume also includes an interview with Professor Liang Huixing and a Chinese translation of the South Korean Civil Code, which has strong reference value. This book is suitable for legal researchers, law students, legal practitioners engaged in legal practice, as well as scholars from other disciplines who are interested in law.
