Features: This book is part of the general training materials for the new curriculum in basic education at the national level. It aims to help teachers understand the new features of the new textbooks, establish a new perspective on textbooks, and thereby make better use of the new textbooks to better serve student development. For this purpose, we particularly emphasize:
· Valuing teachers' active construction, encouraging teachers to engage in reflective learning by combining their own experiences and insights.
· Highlighting case studies, emphasizing problem-centered exploratory learning to help teachers improve their ability to analyze, solve problems, and use new textbooks.
· Encouraging teachers to adopt an open mindset and actively engage in communication and collaboration with other teachers, sharing experiences and growing together through discussions, classroom observations, role-playing, and other activities.
In summary, we particularly emphasize that teachers learn the content of this book through autonomy, collaboration, exploration, communication, and reflection, with the goal of achieving professional development and personal growth through an in-depth understanding of the new textbooks. This book can be studied in groups or self-studied, but best is to combine both. We strongly advocate school-based teacher training, where teachers are divided into learning groups by subject within the school, allowing universities to engage in collaborative learning through communication and discussions. This approach tends to be more effective.
