The auxiliary verbs in the above sentences. These auxiliary verbs are similar to verbs and adjectives in that most of them are conjugated. However, auxiliary verbs cannot be used alone and are primarily attached to verbs, adjectives, and other words to add a certain meaning. Additionally, there are also auxiliary verbs that attach to nouns in a similar way. These standalone auxiliary verbs will be explained in Chapter 1.
I am watching TV right now. I should go to the bank now. Have you ever eaten Indian food?
