Poetry Nation's High Tide and the Culture of the Tang Dynasty

Features: This book takes the climax of the poetic realm and the culture of the Tang Dynasty as its theme, primarily aiming to explore some overlooked reasons for the prosperity of Tang Dynasty poetry from certain cultural perspectives. Since it does not seek comprehensive elaboration but rather fills gaps, it inevitably has some biases and omissions. Among them, landscape and pastoral poetry, contemporary thought, academic background, social and personal relationships, the lifestyle of scholars, and poetic expression techniques are areas I have been more concerned with; while women and literature, music and Yuefu, cultural exchange and poetry, educational environment, creative paradigms, and tonal patterns are relatively new areas I have recently engaged in. As for important topics like frontier themes, since I have already conducted research on them and have no new insights to offer, they are left out in this work.
