Features: This book is a collection of the author's insights and achievements in the study of the History of the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties over the years. Since being introduced to the field by Mr. Deng Wenru in the 1930s, the author has dedicated significant effort to researching this period over more than six decades. The papers included in this book are divided into two parts. The first part consists of 12 essays, most of which were written before 1949, with only a few published afterward, but their initial drafts were completed earlier. The second part contains 22 articles, most of which were written after the late 1970s, except for "On Zhuge Liang," which was written in 1954. The essays in the first part are early works, and their writing style differs greatly from the current standard. For the convenience of readers and to maintain consistency in the overall format, some technical adjustments have been made. Some papers have been supplemented with newly discovered materials, and corrections have been made to typographical and textual errors in the original text. However, the overall framework of the articles remains unchanged.
