1. It systematically elaborates on the background, development process, and rich economic practical foundations of knowledge economics. It discusses how the formation and development of knowledge economics, like other disciplines, have a long history and a solid practical foundation, fully demonstrating the great truth that scientific theories arise from practice. This is an aspect rarely covered in other specialized works on knowledge economics.
2. It comprehensively discusses the theoretical framework of knowledge economics. The emergence of knowledge economics is a product of highly developed science and technology and the evolution of human socio-economic activities. Its theoretical exploration began as early as the 1940s, and this book provides a detailed introduction in Chapter 4.
