Features: Windows 2000 Server is Microsoft's latest server operating system platform, offering powerful network services such as file and print services, Active Directory services, routing and remote access services, IIS services, and digital certificate services. At the same time, Windows 2000 Server is a stable and reliable operating system platform, on which Microsoft's 2000 series server products, such as Exchange 2000, SQL Server 2000, Internet Security, Acceleration Server 2000, and other software products from third-party vendors, can be installed. This book is the third volume in the Windows 2000 Server technical training series, primarily introducing five parts: using Windows 2000 RRAS to implement remote access for users, VPN, and remote connectivity of corporate networks; configuring Active Directory in a distributed environment; and the implementation of Windows 2000 security and digital certificates. This book is aimed at IT technicians and network administrators responsible for planning, establishing, and managing Windows 2000 network environments. Readers are expected to have a solid foundation in TCP/IP networks, Windows 2000, and Active Directory. The book mainly covers the use of Windows 2000 RRAS to implement remote access for users, VPN, and remote connectivity of corporate networks, as well as how to configure Active Directory in a distributed environment.
