The winning projects demonstrate the significant progress made in educational building design in China since 1987. These projects broke away from the monotonous past models, not only meeting educational functional needs but also further emphasizing the creation of a nurturing environment. Adhering to the human-centered philosophy, they created multi-level nurturing environments tailored to different age groups. Through various architectural techniques such as different building layouts, spatial organization, and color application, the humanistic spirit, contemporary characteristics, and unique styles of the buildings were reflected. This book includes all projects that won first, second, and third prizes, as well as most of the projects that received Excellence Awards.
