Features: The China Institute of Architecture and the International Union of Architects' "Beijing Road" Working Group organized a "Beijing Road" architectural design competition in China in July 2000, receiving a total of 116 design submissions, including 78 student works and 38 works by young architects and teachers. After four rounds of anonymous voting, four first prizes, five second prizes, seven third prizes, and 19 encouragement prizes were awarded. This volume is compiled from the 116 submitted works.
