Features: This book is a specialized study on the Hmong (HMONG people) from a transnational perspective. The research was funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, with the project name "Transnational Hmong and the International Community Research" (Approval No. 96CMZ006). The Hmong (HMONG people) are an ethnic group originating from China, living across more than ten countries in China, Southeast Asia, and the Americas. Due to their unique historical origins, sociocultural characteristics, and their influence on the countries they reside in, they hold a typical significance in ethnic theory research. The author combs and analyzes a large amount of domestic and foreign literature, combining field research, and employs multidisciplinary theories and knowledge to explore the transnational nature of the Hmong (HMONG people) from multiple angles. This achievement breaks through the traditional framework of Hmong studies and is pioneering in the field of Hmongology. Through the specific study of this ethnic group, the author conducts theoretical analysis, offering innovative insights and research on transnational ethnic theories, the relationship between ethnic groups and states, and the issue of Chinese ethnic minorities living abroad. This enhances the academic value of the book. There are many ethnic groups in China that are transnational, playing significant roles in the social life of the nation and in its foreign relations. On a global scale, transnational ethnic issues are often a focal point of international society and academia. The publication of this research achievement will have important practical significance.
