Features: On December 26th of this year, it will be the 110th anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao Zedong. Comrade Mao Zedong was a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, strategist, and theorist. He established indelible merits for the founding and development of the Communist Party of China and the People's Liberation Army, for the liberation cause of the people of all ethnic groups in China, and for the founding of the People's Republic of China and the development of China's socialist cause. To celebrate the great achievements of the great man, inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the Party, and further implement the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Party, in line with the important requirements of the "Three Represents" theory, the Beijing Ancient Style Culture and Art Research Institute held the "Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting Commemorating the 110th Anniversary of the Birth of Comrade Mao Zedong" at the Beijing Revolutionary Military Museum on December 4th, and compiled and published this work. This work is divided into two volumes, with nearly 3,000 pieces of art included, featuring works by former leaders, former generals, and calligraphers and painters, most of whom are members of the China Senior Calligraphers and Painters Association and enthusiastic amateurs of calligraphy and painting. With immense reverence for Comrade Mao Zedong and passion for building a great socialist motherland, the author wielded brushes and ink to meticulously create these works. The themes are clear, the subjects diverse, the content rich, and the styles varied, celebrating the Party, praising the great achievements of Comrade Mao Zedong, and highlighting the new visage of the socialist motherland.
