Features: Compiling a set of Chinese Folk Vocal Music Teaching Materials has been our common aspiration for many years. In 1990, our department established a teaching material selection team. After thorough discussions and contributions from all faculty members, repeated screening, and systematic organization, we compiled the teaching materials frequently used in our classrooms along with a batch of new vocal works. These were published by the People's Music Publishing House and introduced to fellow folk vocal music educators, students, and enthusiasts for reference in teaching and performance. This aims to better promote teaching, facilitate mutual exchange, continuous improvement, and collective advancement. Establishing a set of Chinese folk vocal music teaching materials that are national, artistic, contemporary, and systematic is a glorious mission and responsibility for those engaged in folk vocal music work. Moving forward, we will make every effort to create conditions and continue to compile teaching materials in various forms, particularly strengthening the development of new teaching materials. We will pay attention to aligning classroom teaching materials with practical performance repertoire to organically integrate students' lessons with artistic practice. Chinese Folk Vocal Music Teaching Materials consists of three volumes, primarily including: classical Chinese poetry songs, traditional folk songs, adapted folk songs, original compositions, selected arias from Chinese operas, and film and television theme songs.
