Features: During the compilation of this book, a wide collection of over a thousand popular songs was made. Through repeated selection, songs suitable for the characteristics of the erhu, capable of showcasing erhu playing techniques, and possessing certain value for practice and performance were chosen. Based on the different situations of each song, they were processed, arranged, and adapted to become erhu pieces suitable for learners (including some suitable for professional erhu players). This set of books is divided into three volumes:
Volume 1 contains 150 pieces, all in G.
Volume 2 contains 150 pieces, including 70 in D, 40 in F, 25 in C, and 15 in A.
Volume 3 contains 150 pieces.
Each section follows the teaching principle of progressing from simple to complex and from easy to difficult. Starting with pieces that are relatively simple, easy to master, and suitable for beginners, the difficulty gradually increases, leading to pieces suitable for professional erhu players for performance. The arrangement is generally based on the level of technique and musical expression, from easy to difficult, to facilitate readers' learning and use.
