Features: Cui Pi was born on September 28, 1954, in Changchun City, Jilin Province. He graduated from the History Department of Northeast Normal University in 1978. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the History Department of Northeast Normal University. He specializes in the history of international relations in Northeast Asia and the history of trade control policies between the East and West during the Cold War. He has written books such as Studies on the International Relations of Modern Northeast Asia, U.S. Cold War Strategy and the Paris Committee, China Committee 1945-1994, and Russians in Heilongjiang (Continuation). He has published many academic papers in the Journal of History, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
