Features: This book is the research outcome of the sub-project "Research and Practice on the Curriculum System and Teaching Content of Engineering Drawing" under the National Planning Project of the 15th Five-Year Plan in Educational Science, titled "Innovation and Practice of the Talent Cultivation System of Higher Education in China in the 21st Century." During the revision process, the book referred to similar textbooks both domestically and internationally, summarizing years of teaching reform experience, especially in recent years. It considers both the needs of cultivating 21st-century talents and the practical realities of adult higher education in China. This book is suitable for majors such as Electrical and Information Engineering, Management Science and Engineering in general higher education, as well as for adult higher education institutions like correspondence universities, evening universities, vocational universities, and radio and television universities. In terms of content, the book combines theory with application, prioritizing practicality. It selects traditional engineering drawing content while also giving appropriate space to computer-aided drafting. Additionally, it adopts the newly issued national standards promulgated by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision in 2003, such as "Technical Drawing" and "Mechanical Drawing," and arranges them in the main text or appendices as needed to help students develop awareness of implementing new national standards and cultivate their ability to consult national standards. The book includes the following content: Basic Knowledge of Drawing, Projection Principles, Sections and Intersections of Solids, Axonometric Projection, Standard Parts and Common Components, and an Introduction to Electrical Drawing.
