The "Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology Volume" contains 593 entries, while the "Humanities and Social Sciences Volume" contains 587 entries. During the selection, collection, writing, and editing processes, efforts were made to adhere to the principles of scientificity, authority, systematicity, and fun. To facilitate reading and learning for young readers, each entry is labeled with a ★ symbol according to its scientific significance and social prominence, divided into ★, ★★, ★★★, ★★★★, and ★★★★★ levels. The manual is divided into two volumes: "Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology" and "Humanities and Social Sciences." Due to the involvement of many emerging and interdisciplinary fields, related discipline entries are combined and listed together. However, within each major category, entries from the same discipline are grouped together, and attention is paid to the scientific connections between them and related discipline entries.
