Features: Based on the fundamental conditions of our country, as well as the varying levels of economic development and climatic characteristics across different regions, a scientific analysis and verification of a large amount of data were conducted. The draft of this standard was distributed twice to education departments across regions for comments, and multiple specialized seminars were held, attended by managers and experts from various levels of education departments, primary and secondary schools, architectural design units, and other relevant fields, for verification. Finally, the submitted draft of this standard was reviewed and approved by an expert review meeting, and upon this basis, the final submitted draft was completed and submitted to the Ministry of Construction and the National Development and Reform Commission for review, finalization, and implementation. This construction standard is divided into five chapters, including General Provisions, School Construction Scale and Composition of Buildings, School Network Layout, Site Selection, and Planning and Design, Building Area Indicators and Main Building Standards for Schools.
