Features: A well-written novel is one that conveys messages through stories. By this standard, many novels today are poor—they don’t inspire but rather drag people down. Liu Yuxin’s novels have a sense of right and wrong. A manager in the antique business has written such an excellent novel, which is a miracle. I deeply admire it. The characters in his novels are well-crafted, the plot is intricate, straightforward, and smooth.

Not only is it fascinating, but it also enriches readers with a wealth of knowledge about cultural relics. It’s not an exaggeration to say that it offers a unique and insightful perspective on Chinese culture and the spirit of its people.

With the fall of the Qing Dynasty, countless precious cultural relics flooded into the, leading to a in the market for cultural relics. This book, set in the renowned Liulichang, chronicles the stories of a diverse cast of antique merchants, delivering shocking tales while introducing rich knowledge about cultural relics. The work vividly reveals the brutality of history, the richness of culture, and the complexity of human nature. The novel is somber, refined, and grand in scope.
