Features: After China's entry into the World Trade Organization, with the reduction of quotas and tariff barriers on textiles and clothing, developed countries have established increasingly stringent technical standards to restrict China's textile and clothing trade. This book combines the theory of technical trade barriers with China's textile and clothing industry. Based on theoretical research, it analyzes the impact of technical trade barriers on China's textile and clothing trade and proposes countermeasures for the industry to address these barriers. The book is divided into seven chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the basic concepts, classification, characteristics, and impact of technical trade barriers. Chapter 2 explains the notification and consultation system for technical trade barriers and the dispute resolution mechanism. Chapter 3 provides a detailed introduction to the technical trade barrier systems and management mechanisms of some developed countries. Chapter 4 reviews and analyzes the impact of the Multi-Fiber Arrangement and the Agreement on Textiles and Clothing on China's textile and clothing trade. Chapter 5 analyzes the impact of technical trade barriers on China's textile and clothing trade with major developed countries. Chapter 6 elaborates on how to regulate and improve China's technical trade barrier protection measures.
