Features: This dictionary is mainly based on the aforementioned several new-word dictionaries, and also appropriately includes French new words that appeared in five bilingual dictionaries published in French, English, and Japanese in the 1980s. The total number of entries reaches around 20,000, with the manuscript completed in July 1988. Most of the entries collected are new words and meanings that emerged in French during the 1960s and 1970s. A small portion, though not new words, were not included in existing comprehensive French-Chinese dictionaries in China, thus making this book play a certain role in filling the gaps.
