Features: Tang Yun (1910-1993), originally named Xiaochen. Also known as Dashi, Yaocheng, and Yaoweng, was from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. During his lifetime, he served as a professor at Xinhua Art College, Shanghai Art College, a council member of the China Artists Association, vice chairman of the Shanghai branch of the China Artists Association, honorary president of the Shanghai Chinese Painting Institute, and a member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Tang Yun was a renowned Chinese painter, known for his vigorous brushwork, bright colors, and innovative compositions. He excelled in painting flowers, birds, and landscapes. He was also an expert in the collection and appraisal of ancient Chinese paintings, calligraphy, and cultural relics. His works have been exhibited multiple times in Shanghai and national art exhibitions.
