Check the colposcopy said cervical inflammation, how to treat

Patient's question:

Previously, I had a thorough examination and colposcopy which indicated cervical inflammation. I used medication for five days and took oral medication for four days. Yesterday, I went for another examination, but the colposcopy clinic was closed, so I had a routine vaginal discharge test which showed epithelial cells, lactobacilli, and white blood cells. The doctor prescribed two bottles of washing medication and a box of orange-colored medication to take home. I haven't finished using them yet. Can I still have a colposcopy?

Doctor's answer:

It is best to carefully check after stopping medication for 3 days, otherwise the results will be interfered with. To carefully check, you need to stop taking the medication for a few days first. My suggestion is to use the medication first, and then go for a re-examination after the next menstrual period is clean. For severe cases of cervical inflammation, it is recommended to seek medical attention immediately and receive treatment according to the doctor's advice. Do not blindly trust and use advertisements for medication, as this may worsen the condition. Maintain a healthy diet to help the body recover faster.
