Features: The basic structure of this book. The book is divided into six chapters.
Chapter 1: The author first reviews the general state of domestic research on market order, then defines basic concepts such as "order" and "market order," and discusses the impact of market order on the economy and society.
Chapter 2: The author traces and organizes the theoretical origins of foreign market order theories, summarizing the research achievements of previous scholars. It examines the emergence and formation of early order concepts, including the natural order view of the Physiocrats, the spontaneous order view of the Scottish tradition, Buchanan's constitutional libertarian order view, the German order liberalism order view, and the order view of new institutional economics, and provides critiques and summaries of these theories. On this basis, the author proposes a new perspective on market order research in this book: the theory of interest equilibrium order.
Chapter 3: The author explains the formation and evolution mechanisms of market order using game theory. The author argues that a stable market order must be a stable result of the equilibrium of interests among market entities.
Chapter 4: Starting from the basic framework of market interest, the author analyzes the factors influencing market order—market information, market rules, and market entities.
Chapter 5: From the complexity of modern market interest, the author proposes that the core mechanism of modern market order governance is market rule of law. This chapter discusses the basic principles and framework of market rule of law, suggests the alignment between market rule of law and market autonomy, i.e., social trust mechanisms as a cost-effective market governance mechanism, and takes the United States as an example to comprehensively analyze the practical experience of U.S. market order governance in areas such as market competition legal systems, small and medium-sized enterprise systems, and consumer rights protection systems.
Chapter 6: The author describes the various manifestations of the current chaos in China's market order, performs a "pathological" analysis of China's market order during the transition period, conducts a comprehensive analysis of the "pathology" of China's market order from general and specific perspectives, and proposes targeted comprehensive governance measures aimed at promoting market institutionalization.
