Publish Date: 2003-01-01
Features: During prosperous times, there are numerous literary works. Tang and Song Dynasty poems and prose have been passed down through the ages. Now, in another era of prosperity, the entire nation is filled with a sense of elation. In recent years, prose creation has flourished with the vigor of thousands of ships racing and a hundred flowers blooming, providing an excellent foundation for the annual selection and enriching the treasury of Chinese culture. In light of this, our publishing house has invited the Chinese Association of Prose Writers to edit the annual prose anthology, starting from 2001, one volume each year. The selection scope includes articles published in newspapers and magazines across the country. The selection principles are extensive reading and refining the best, choosing works for their quality rather than the author's fame, and embracing diverse themes and styles. The selection goal is to represent the highest level of Chinese prose creation for that year.
