In a cold winter, a talking oak tree that grew in the forest was chopped down by a carpenter and made into a puppet. It came to the city. The puppet, longing for the forest day and night, had a cold heart. He wanted to take revenge on humans for their reckless cutting down of trees, so he recruited various animals to form a circus, attempting to drive humans out of the city.
The Forest of Puppets tells the story of how humans and nature should coexist harmoniously. Little bear Baihehe originally lived in the forest. One day, a railway engineer named Atong came to the forest. He hoped to build a railway to encourage more interaction between animals and humans, and to lead more people closer to nature.
After the railway was built, Baihehe left the forest and came to the city, joining Roli’s circus. Roli was an old man with magic. He used opera to control the memories of the animals, trying to establish a huge circus in the city and drive humans out. Atong discovered a book about Roli in the library. It turned out that Roli was once a great tree, but it was chopped down, placed in cold water, and transported down the mountain, where it was carved into a puppet. From then on, Roli had a cold heart.
With the efforts of everyone, especially the passionate and loving Acan girl from the library, Roli was eventually warmed and returned to his forest, breaking all the magic.
The Forest of Puppets is a thrilling and engaging fairy tale. In its suspenseful and winding plot, children experience the miracle of love, the warmth of companionship, the joy of dedication, and the power of tolerance.
