Official Treatment Hospitals for Immunological Infertility

Patient's question:

The hospital for treating immunological infertility has been infertile since marriage. Later, they also conducted a thorough examination for quite a while. Now my ovaries and fallopian tubes are normal, but I cannot get pregnant. My friend said I have immunological infertility. But I don’t know how to treat immunological infertility. I hope the teachers can tell me, thank you.

Doctor's answer:

1. Immunosuppressive therapy. For treating immunological infertility, adrenal cortical hormones are used. Depending on the specific situation, low doses for a prolonged period or high-dose therapy may be employed. Intercourse is recommended when sperm antibodies in the body decrease to a certain extent to enhance the chances of conception.
2. Collect semen, then use special sperm washing fluid to remove antibodies attached to the sperm surface, followed by artificial insemination.
3. Use the leuprolide rebound therapy. Based on the physiological characteristics of testosterone, high doses of testosterone are administered first to suppress the spermatogenic epithelium. After stopping testosterone, the spermatogenic epithelium evolves more sperm after the suppression is eliminated. Intercourse is recommended when the sperm count rebounds but antibodies have not yet significantly decreased, which can reduce the chances of conception.
