Features: On the eve of Christmas, the eight girls in 1908 spent their time in happiness and harmony. They even took a cheerful "family photo" during the Christmas revelry. Soon, the novelty of being together wore off among the girls in 1908. Due to the close interactions between the four girls—Jingzi, Xiaofang, Baolian, and Maggie—with the boys in other dorm rooms, the boys began to enter the 1908 women's dormitory. Unrestrained, they caused great dissatisfaction among Wenxin and the other four girls. Wenxin's concessions did not temper the behavior of the four boys and four girls; instead, it fueled their arrogance, leading them to escalate their antics to the point of being utterly reckless, staying up even after the lights were out. If they had no classes the next morning, they would still dance wildly at midnight. As a result, an originally proud collective began to fracture. Finally, one night, Wenxin flew into a rage and caused a major uproar in 1908. However, this only intensified the collective conflict, marking the beginning of a splintered situation.
