"Farewell to Cambridge" is a beautiful lyrical poem, resembling a graceful and melodious light music. In the autumn of 1928, the author revisited England and, upon returning to his old stomping grounds, was inspired to compose poetry. He transformed his life experiences into threads of emotion, blending them with the beautiful scenery of Cambridge he described, while also soaring in the poet's imagination. This poem is one of Xu Zhimo's most well-known representative works.
