Features: This is a book about enterprise. It records the setbacks and confusion encountered by China's excellent enterprises during their transformation. This is a book documenting the ups and downs of China's .COM industry in the early 21st century, with all content coming from the author's independent observations and reflections. This is a long-form report in progress, as everything is still evolving and there are no conclusions in the book. Is Lenovo catching its breath? In 2001, amid the backdrop of the IT winter, Lenovo failed to continue its legendary unbeaten streak, marking the first time in computer history it did not meet its expected targets. The multimillion-dollar internet empire, painstakingly built by Lenovo, vanished into thin air. Lenovo's second transformation after reaching the pinnacle of China's computer industry ended in failure. Since the launch of Lenovo Computer, it had never failed, and Young Yangquan's dictionary did not even contain the word "failure." There are no perpetual victors in the world, nor are there invincible enterprises. Every company, at different stages of its growth, will encounter various challenges. The key lies in how to continuously correct and surpass oneself in the face of setbacks. The problems and setbacks Lenovo faces today may also be the challenges a large number of Chinese enterprises, whether they are already or currently moving toward marketization and internationalization, are about to encounter. Among them, Lenovo is the most likely to succeed. In the new century, Lenovo, leading the way among Chinese enterprises, has historically reached a turning point. The world will wait with bated breath.
