The development of Sino-U.S. relations through wind and rain to this day is precisely because of the fearless spirit and friendship and cooperation demonstrated by historical figures when human peace and justice were at stake, which laid a solid foundation for the friendship between the two peoples. Stilwell is a symbol of the friendship between the Chinese and American peoples, and General Stilwell's experiences in China are a precious wealth for both China and the United States as they move toward an uncertain future.
