Features: This book objectively reflects the outcomes of a series of research projects and teaching practices. The most influential among them was the soft science project "Research on Space Responsibilities of Major Countries in the World" (2001-2002) that the author participated in and led under the Ministry of National Defense Science and Technology Commission. It was during the research on this project that the author developed the desire to provide a comprehensive introduction and study of international space law, and it was also on the basis of this research that the author's confidence was strengthened. In terms of the system and framework of international space law, although different countries and international organizations have demonstrated varying characteristics and focuses in their practices, all international space treaties formulated and adopted under the United Nations framework are fundamental. Nearly all other international organizations and countries' space law systems are structured around the content of these international treaties. Therefore, focusing on and studying the space law systems of countries and international organizations based on international space treaties is both mature and beneficial.
