The third part is the appendix, which includes: first, a collection of materials about Zhang Chuanshan from official histories, local records, family chronicles, poetic discussions, and poetry collections, many of which are newly published. Second, it appends an index of research works and papers on Zhang Chuanshan from various dynasties. This book has a complete format, abundant information, and is the first officially published chronology of Zhang Chuanshan since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Zhang Wentao, styled Chuanshan, was originally from Lianghekou in Jinqiao Township, Pengxi County. He was a famous poet of the Qing Dynasty, known as one of the "Three Great Masters of the 'Spiritual Nature' School" in the Qianlong and Jiaqing eras, alongside Yuan Mei and Zhao Ji.
