Features: Wang Linxu was born on June 6, 1959, in Pingdu City, Shandong Province. In 1982, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shandong Weifang Education College. He is currently the President of the Beijing Research Association of International Famous Chinese, a professor at Nankai University, a professor at Minzu University of China, the Director of the Institute of Oriental Culture at Minzu University of China, and the President of the Beijing Linxu Cultural and Art Foundation, among other positions. In 1992, he studied at Tokyo University of the Arts in Japan, receiving the Japan-China Friendship Association Scholarship and the Art Creation Award. From 1995 to 2001, he served as a visiting scholar at the School of Art at San Jose State University in California, teaching Eastern Culture, Chinese Painting Techniques and Theory. In 2001, he was honored as a Distinguished Professor at the same university. In 2000, he received an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Armstrong University in the United States. For many years, he has been deeply devoted to ink bamboo painting, advocating the representation of the essence of nature through the profound principles of nature, and infusing Eastern art with a sense of the times. His ink bamboo paintings have been selected multiple times as "national gifts" to be presented to foreign heads of state, government leaders, and distinguished guests, and have been collected. His ink bamboo painting "Peace for a Hundred Years" set a record for the highest auction price in Chinese painting at 15 million Hong Kong dollars. His works have been collected in over 50 countries and regions, including Japan, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, France, Russia, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, as well as Africa and Latin America.
