Features: Xiang Rengliang, a Tujia ethnic native of Yongshun, Hunan, was born in 1926 and is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from the second senior class of Hunan Provincial No. 8 High School in 1944. Later, he worked as an assistant in the Chemical Department of Nanjing Yongli Refining Factory. After a year, he enrolled in the Business Administration Department of Nanjing Jianguo Law and Economics College. After the Nanjing period, he successively served as a counselor at the East China People's Revolutionary University, Nanjing Municipal Cadre School, and Nanjing Municipal Party School. In 1956, he enrolled in the Chinese Language Department of Shandong University. After graduation, he was assigned to teach at the Classical Documents Department of Peking University, engaging in teaching and research on the history of ancient Chinese culture, with a focus on the production of others' lives within human life production. Associate Professor, he retired in 1987. His individual works include: "Knowledge of Ancient Chinese Culture," "General Theory of Xunzi," "Blood Ties, Good Ties, Ill-Timed Ties," "Ancient Chinese Marriage Custom Culture," and "Discussions on the History of Ancient Chinese Culture." His collective works include: "Annotations to Guwen Guanzhi," "Famous Women in Ancient and Modern Times," and "History of Ancient Chinese Culture."
