Features: According to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, different foods have different properties, flavors, meridian affiliations, nutritional compositions, and effects. During the writing process of this book, the foods in dietary therapy were classified according to the TCM concepts of "Four Qi," "Five Flavors," "Rising and Descending," and "Meridian Affiliation." The book introduces the components, functions, and indications of each food, as well as its prescription recommendations and contraindications. In the selected prescriptions, some time-tested formulas from ancient and modern times are included. Due to differing units of measurement in different historical periods, it is difficult to standardize them with current units. In practical applications, they are provided for reference only. Please note this when using them. Additionally, the book explains the mechanisms and characteristics of food-based treatments, syndrome differentiation and individualized dietary approaches, as well as the taboos and pairings of foods.
