Can the treatment for candidal vaginitis be skipped?

Patient's question:

Four weeks ago, I had a severe fungal vaginal infection. I used Clotrimazole vaginal tablets and Baidan wash liquid (I forgot the name of the oral medication). The effect was not good, so I went to the hospital again and was prescribed Miconazole nitrate. Besides the externally applied Ketoconazole cream, there was no cottage cheese-like discharge, and the itching also stopped. However, the white discharge remained very thick. Now I am using Flower Red gel, but it still doesn't work.
What kind of help I need: I really want to undergo treatment. I am begging all the doctors for help. Now I dare not go to the hospital anymore, as it's completely ineffective and I'm still suffering!

Doctor's answer:

Candidal vulvovaginitis should be treated with vaginal lavage followed by drying, then medication administered intravaginally, and combined with many related physical therapies for significant effects. Prevention measures: Use antibiotics appropriately, avoid wearing cotton-lined pants, and prevent irritation. Wash used underwear, basins, and towels with boiling water to prevent severe re-infection. After treatment is completed, re-examine vaginal discharge before menstruation, once daily, for three consecutive negative results indicating recent cure. Subsequently, re-examine vaginal discharge 5-7 days before each monthly period for three months, with three consecutive negative results confirming cure.
