Features: At the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Beijing Normal University, Comrade Jiang Zemin emphasized the need to vigorously promote educational innovation in implementing the strategy of rejuvenating the nation through science and education. Comrade Jiang Zemin highlighted the strategic importance of educational innovation, considering it as crucial as theoretical innovation, institutional innovation, and technological innovation. He also believed that education must provide knowledge and talent foundations for various innovative endeavors. Rejuvenating the nation through science and education relies on talent, and talent development primarily depends on education. While China has abundant human resources, it lacks rich talent resources. It is essential to vigorously develop talent resources and improve the comprehensive quality of the entire population to transform China's heavy population burden into a human resource advantage. Human resource development mainly includes aspects such as the education, training, allocation, and utilization of the labor force (whether actual or potential), with education being the fundamental component of human resource development. Due to the negative influence of traditional culture and a series of more immediate reasons, China's current educational concepts, content, systems, and mechanisms have fallen far behind the needs of social development and individual all-round development. Therefore, educational innovation is imperative. This book takes the relationship between education and human resource development as its main thread, aiming to explore some theoretical and practical issues closely related to building socialism with Chinese characteristics. During the writing process of this book, we extensively referred to the relevant works of scholars both domestically and internationally, providing annotations or explanations where possible.
