Features: This book systematically introduces the knowledge of spatial analytical geometry. Since vector theory provides a very advantageous tool for studying geometry and is also frequently applied in certain scientific and technological fields, the concept of vectors can make geometry more easily applicable to certain natural sciences and technological fields. Therefore, after introducing spatial coordinate systems in Chapter 1, the concept of vectors and their algebraic operations are introduced in the following Chapter 2. Chapter 3 discusses the graphs represented by linear equations in spatial rectangular coordinate systems (lines and planes). Chapters 4 and 5 mainly discuss the surfaces represented by quadratic equations in spatial rectangular coordinate systems (quadratic surfaces). Chapters 6 and 7 briefly introduce orthogonal transformations, affine transformations, and the basics of projective geometry. As a textbook for a semester with 4 hours per week (3 hours of lectures and 1 hour of problem-solving sessions), this book is equipped with an appropriate number of exercises. The section on projective geometry in Chapter 7 can be optionally taught or omitted.
