Is my situation a natural miscarriage?

Patient's question:

Because we are planning to have a child, my husband and I have not been using any form of contraception since September of this year. My period didn't come in September, but there were some abnormalities. On October 2, I had a thick discharge that lasted for about ten days. On October 30, I took an early pregnancy test, which was negative. On November 2, I took another one, which was also negative. On November 4, I had another thick discharge, and tonight, I expelled something that I suspect might be a gestational sac. Is my situation a miscarriage?
History of previous treatment and effectiveness: In August 2010, I experienced another complete spontaneous abortion.
Type of help desired: Is my situation a miscarriage? What should I do?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, based on some of your early pregnancy test results, there has been no pregnancy, and therefore no miscarriage. It is just a case of irregular menstruation.
Advice: If your menstrual cycle is irregular, it may affect menopause, which in turn will directly impact normal sexual intercourse and pregnancy. Therefore, it is recommended to first undergo treatment to regulate your menstrual cycle and establish a regular pattern before engaging in sexual intercourse to conceive. This will increase the likelihood of pregnancy.
