Features: During the day, green plants perform photosynthesis, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, acting as a natural "oxygen generator." It has been measured that well-vegetated areas can significantly reduce indoor carbon dioxide levels. Roughly, placing 2 medium-sized potted plants in an area of 15 square meters or 3-4 small-sized potted plants will not pose any health issues related to the plants. The leaves of green plants are generally large, and many have fuzz on them, while some can even secrete sticky substances, effectively trapping airborne smoke and dust, thereby purifying the air. Flowers have strong antibacterial and air-purifying capabilities. English ivy and dragon trees can remove 80% of benzene released from cigarettes and synthetic fibers within a day. Aloe vera and spider plants are effective in purifying formaldehyde. Roses and snake plants can absorb sulfur dioxide and other harmful gases. Osmanthus and orchids have strong dust-absorbing effects.
