Features: The gynecology clinic has always been the most story-rich place in hospitals, whether it's the curvy contours of women or the lingering emotions, there must be a web of suspense woven through the text. Gynecology is a typical "place of right and wrong," because it involves women, sex, love, and marriage, it is a place where hidden truths are most concentrated. And the disease itself is a turning point in fate, testing the humanity of those around the patient. Therefore, the gynecology clinic embodies the culmination of two major conflicts, capable of producing stories that attract attention. This is a "cross-disciplinary" book, crossing the boundaries of literature and medicine, blending subjective emotions with objective knowledge. After telling each gynecology clinic story, it also includes scientific explanations of related diseases, combining deeply emotional narratives with pathological and etiological analyses for reference. It's hard to say which gynecological disease is unrelated to emotions, and escaping the entanglement of emotions and diseases became an increasingly strong desire during my interviews. Like the late-stage cancer girl in the book who hated herself for not dying according to medical principles, her frail life actually outlasted the lies of love, leaving her remaining days filled with despair and cruelty due to her clarity. Because of her, I also hope that the souls of women suffering from illness pass away first, so that pain and disability could be singular—pain could be relieved with medication, anesthesia could be administered with needles, and surgery could be performed. Unfortunately, neither medicine nor medical devices can mend hidden wounds or hidden truths, which then confidently dominate the emotions of the entire book—this series of stories that take place in the gynecology clinic are basically free of tragedy, though their protagonists may be right around us, still graceful and composed. Thus, I thought of the name "Hidden Injuries."
