Game Theory, Coordination, and Social Development: An Introduction to Coordination Economics

Author: Zhu Fuqiang
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-07-01
Features: This book is revised based on the author's doctoral dissertation and largely retains the original form of the dissertation. However, due to the overly complex thoughts formed during the writing of the doctoral dissertation and its macro-level concept—a programmatic framework for analyzing a new perspective—during the two and a half years after the dissertation defense, the author further conducted in-depth analyses of the series of issues proposed in the book using the coordination perspective introduced in this book. For example, based on the analysis of value creation using coordination in Chapter of this book, two books were developed: "Effective Labor Value Theory: Understanding Labor Allocation through Coordination" and "A Practical Interpretation of Effective Labor Value Theory," as well as the book "An Ontological Explanation of the Firm." All three books have been completed. Among them, "Effective Labor Value Theory" and "A Practical Interpretation of Effective Labor Value Theory" have been published by Economic Science Press with the support of the Lingnan Academic Fund, while "An Ontological Explanation of the Firm" is currently awaiting publishing funding. These three books each have a unique research system and analytical logic within their respective fields and have drawn many novel and more realistic viewpoints and conclusions. It is believed that readers will share this impression after reading them. The greatest academic value of this book lies in opening up new research perspectives and systematically examining all aspects of economic activities with coordination as the starting point.
