Features: Since this textbook has been changed from multi-professional use in the second edition to single professional use in community medicine, the content of Basic Diagnostics has been removed. According to the teaching syllabus, the section on Nursing and Diagnostic Techniques in Internal Medicine has been included in the textbook "Basic Diagnostics," while the section on Emergency and Critical Illness in Internal Medicine has been added. In the writing of "Internal Medicine," we have focused on highlighting professional and course objectives. The textbook content is arranged in principle according to the teaching plan and syllabus issued by the Ministry of Health. We strive to reflect the ideological, scientific, advanced, inspirational, and applicability of the textbook, with the aim of improving students' basic theoretical knowledge, basic practical skills, and basic attitudes and methods through the teaching of Internal Medicine. The drug names mentioned in this edition of the textbook are basically written based on the Chinese official names compiled by the Pharmacopoeia Committee of the Ministry of Health in the "Glossary of Drug Names" (1991). Due to significant changes in some drug names compared to the original names, a corresponding drug name comparison table related to the content of this textbook has been specially attached, with the English official names of the international non-proprietary names compiled by the World Health Organization added for reference.
