Features: This book includes over 1,000 vocabulary words for the Intermediate English Level Test; over 5,900 vocabulary words for the College English Test Band 4 (including intermediate vocabulary); and over 7,700 vocabulary words for the College English Test Band 6 (including Band 4 vocabulary). For the convenience of readers in application and reading, this book adopts a 128-page format. The writing style is as follows:
1. The book uses a dual-color printing format.
2. After each word entry, the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) is marked, with "//" annotations.
3. After the IPA, the part of speech and Chinese explanation of the word are provided.
4. Special variations of verbs (past tense and past participle), irregular plural forms of nouns, and irregular comparative and superlative forms of adjectives are enclosed in parentheses and written after the part of speech.
5. Derived words, compound words, and phrases are printed in boldface and appended to the corresponding word entries.
