Features: On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Hans Christian Andersen's birth, coinciding with the HCA—2005 Global Celebration, the Times & Dimensions Cultural Development Co., Ltd. meticulously produced 15 animated books in the "Hans Christian Andersen Tells Stories" series. This set of books is adapted from the 26-episode animated series "Hans Christian Andersen Tells Stories," which will be broadcast successively on CCTV and local television stations. The "Hans Christian Andersen Tells Stories" animated series was created by Denmark's EGMONT company, selecting and originalizing 30 stories from over 160 of Andersen's fairy tales. The style is unique, with neat, delicate, and beautiful visuals, vividly recreating the essence of Andersen's fairy tales. The books complement the animated series, bringing Chinese young readers a completely fresh experience. It is a story about listening. Crickets, fleas, and Jack the Jumper compete in high jumping, and in the end, the taciturn Jack wins both the competition and the princess's love, because Jack discerns the princess's true feelings. We are accustomed to the idea of expressing ourselves earnestly and brilliantly, making others understand us, yet we overlook the importance of listening. Without listening, any communication or expression becomes meaningless. To listen is not just to appear to be listening—it is to sit quietly, gaze into the other person's eyes, hear their heart, and feel the connection of the heart. Only by truly listening can one speak, speak effectively, and for everything to begin.
