The "New Curriculum Standard High School English Listening Self-Assessment Handbook" is compiled according to the new curriculum standards and the recent college entrance examination syllabus requirements. It carefully selects 18 sets of simulated tests that are equivalent in difficulty to the college entrance examination English listening section, with the same question types and reading speed, and includes 4 sets of recent college entrance examination listening recordings from Beijing, Shanghai, and other national cities. This year, the listening section will account for 30 points, making up 20% of the total score, and English listening training will receive more attention. In recent years' college entrance examinations, the listening section has been a newly added question type. This section assesses candidates' ability to understand spoken English and is divided into two parts: dialogue comprehension and passage comprehension, presented in a multiple-choice format with three options. The dialogue comprehension consists of 5 sub-questions, with each dialogue read only once, while the passage comprehension includes 15 sub-questions, with each dialogue or monologue read twice. The time required to answer this section is approximately 20 minutes.
