Features: The primary purpose of writing this book is for teaching. Over the years, while teaching courses on jurisprudence to graduate students at the Law School of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), the author found that there was no suitable textbook available, as almost all jurisprudence textbooks were designed for undergraduate students. Additionally, considering the special characteristics of the "International Economic Law" major at the author's institution and the research directions of most graduate students, comparative law content was introduced into the lectures, which yielded positive results, forming a course centered on jurisprudence with elements of comparative law. This book is a summary of these courses. According to China's current education system, graduate studies are based on the knowledge acquired during undergraduate studies in the same major. Therefore, if used for teaching, this book should also be used after systematically completing jurisprudence courses at the undergraduate level or thoroughly studying textbooks. The entire book is more like a collection of several different topics. Of course, the themes covered are the fundamental and important subjects in jurisprudence and comparative law. Through the study of these themes, it aims to inspire deeper learning in both fields while providing a cross-disciplinary foundation for the discipline, broadening the mindset of legal scholars. The book includes topics such as: a brief history of the development of law, law and legal education, a comparative analysis of the two legal systems, the basics of comparative law, and an analytical structure of the concept of law.
